And instead of playing every down, he is likely to have a lesser workload in which he's only on the field in base formations (first and second downs) as well as short-yardage and goal-line situations.

"I look at it and say, 'Well, that means I didn't play at a high enough level to keep that job,'" he said. "It's my fault and I don't have anybody to blame but myself.
