Malaysian timber giant, Samling Global Limited– the parent company of Barama Company Limited in Guyana, may lose its Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standard, after the company allegedly boycotted the sawmill industry in New Zealand.According to the Barama Company Limited’s website, Barama is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samling.
