Ivor Greene, an unemployed resident of Lot 77 D’Urban Street,Cheap Manchester United Jersey, Lodge, was yesterday sentenced to twoConvicted: Ivor Greeneyears imprisonment by Magistrate Geeta Chandan-Edmond at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court after he admitted to stealing a man’s wedding ring and $100 in cash.The court heard that the 42-year-old man would usually assist businessman, Maitland Abrams, clean his motor car and carrying his stall, amongst other things.Police Prosecutor, Corporal Renetta Bentham,Custom Bayern Munich Jerseys, said that on January 26, last,Cheap Barcelona Jersey, Greene reportedly accompanied the victim to a popular city supermarket to purchase beverages for his business.The court heard that at the time,Custom Barcelona Jerseys, the victim had his wedding band, valued $100,000 and $100,000 cash in a compartment in his car. Bentham said that Abrams left Greene in the car and went about his business in the supermarket.Upon his return, Abrams noticed that Greene was suddenly anxious to leave. The businessman encouraged him to stay with him a while longer, and the pair made their way to East Street to drop off the beverages and soon after, Greene departed in a hurry.When Abrams returned home, he checked his vehicle and found that his wedding ring and cash were missing. He reported the matter and Greene was later arrested and charged with simple larceny.The Magistrate,Arjen Robben Jersey, in handing down the sentence,Andrea Barzagli Jersey, highlighted the fact that Greene, a repeat offender, had given no reason for his actions. She noted that he spoke highly of the victim, even to the point where he referred to him as “father.”She considered that Greene was a repeat offender and that there was no other suitable alternative, but imprisonment.
