Top overall draft pick Myles Garrett is inactive again for the Cleveland Browns, further delaying his NFL debut.
Injuries like Garrett's — the dreaded high ankle sprain — typically take four to six weeks to heal. The former Texas A&M All-American made quicker progress than the team expected, but the Browns don't want to take any risks and will rest him again.
Cowboys: All-Pro linebacker Sean Lee is inactive because of a hamstring injury. It's the first time the oft-injured Lee has been sidelined by an injury since the season finale in 2015, when he also was out with a hamstring issue. Lee sustained the injury in a win at Arizona on Monday night. He didn't practice all week.
Garrett missed his fourth straight game Sunday with a sprained right ankle. The heralded rookie defensive end returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since Sept. 6, and there had been hope he might be able to play against the Bengals. However, he's not quite ready and the Browns will remain patient. Cleveland hosts the New York Jets next week.
Saints: For the Saints, injured WR Willie Snead (hamstring), LT Terron Armstead (shoulders) and CB Sterling Moore (chest) are inactive, as well as DT Kendall Langford, DE Al-Quadin Muhammad and QB Taysom Hill.
