He said the new air-conditioned offices for lecturers would also be connected so that they can carry out research using on-line data. This, the Professor is optimistic would result in greater research output.The Computer Science students would be exposed to hands on on-site training and given tasks to execute under the guidance of the course lecturer and the network technicians from the UGBC’s computer centre. They would also be guided by some members of the recently held SHOVA programme.Professor Samad noted that this new initiative would be beneficial to the students since the course would not be all didactic.
