Reports have said that the man does not know the area well.Members of the Guyana Police Force mounted a search for the fleeing man, but have not yet captured him.The wounded Allicock was taken to the East Demerara Regional Hospital (EDRH) and was them transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), where he was pronounced dead.A post mortem examination will be performed on the body in the coming days.
