HOUSTON (AP) — Christopher Duncan, a sports reporter for The Associated Press who covered the Houston Texans, Houston Rockets and the Kentucky Derby, has died at the age of 43.
According to The Living Bank transplant organization, Duncan received a kidney transplant from a friend after posting about a condition on Facebook. He returned to work in early August and the first story he wrote was about a Rice football player, Drew Carroll,Cheap NFL Jerseys China, who had been forced to quit playing because of a kidney disease.
Duncan joined the AP's sports department in 2009, taking on a beat that included coverage of the NFL's Texans and the NBA's Rockets.
