A team comprising both local and overseas doctors, nurses, medical students and volunteers has collaborated to offer health services to Guyanese through medical outreaches. The American practitioners arrived in Guyana just under a week ago.Since their arrival on Sunday last, they have attended to over 400 patients in four communities within Region Four.The health outreaches commenced Monday; the first being in Yarrowkabra on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway, then moving along to Long Creek, Kaneville/Samatta Point and at Land of Canaan.Yesterday, in Land of Canaan, the doctors saw over 100 patients at their outreach at the Covent Garden Assembly of God Church’s outstation.
