The Minister said he has received numerous complaints about employees not being able to receive their NIS benefits due to non-payment. He said it is criminal for employers not to pay employees’ contributions.Minister Scott pointed out that employers should not deduct monies from employees’ salaries when they have worked regardless if they committed any infraction on the job.
