A Better Hope resident was remanded to jail yesterday after he pleaded not guilty to a charge of unlawfulMohan Chandrajitpossession of an illegal firearm and ammunition, when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.It is alleged that 25-year-old Mohan Chandrajit, a carpenter, who resides at Better Hope,NFL Jerseys Supply, East Coast Demerara,Cheap Jerseys Free Shipping, had a .38 pistol in his possession when he was not the holder of a firearm licence. He said that the property in which the articles were recovered is under construction. The attorney argued that several persons have access to the building.Further, Chandrajit’s attorney explained that at the time of the police search his client was merely doing work on the building. He stated that his client along with four of his workmates was arrested after the gun find.
